Ending Season Six of RHOA

Season six ended just the way many wanted? with foolery and the negativity of women sitting on the same couch belittling each other! Many find it entertaining but I found it negative and sad at times!

Yes I am a part of this circle and I take full responsibility for my actions! Did I just say that? LOL! Before you start rolling your eyes and poppin your gums, no one is perfect! When the season started I had just married my love, Gregg, and come off an amazing high right into a bunch of drama! It was a downer for me to say the least! I found myself working with women who lie, try to steal husbands, friends, buy boyfriends and cry with lawn mower voices! Wow what people will do for 2 dollars and 50 cents! All this became so draining to me!

Look I am definitely a straight shooter with no chaser! I give it to you direct! No harm intended and I don’t apologize just for the sake of it! If I believe in something strongly I don’t see the need to! I tend to say what many are thinking and I just don’t practice lying! I am all about a good shade-throwing moment, but throwing fists as grown women is crazy to me!

Although I found this season to be draining, I actually learned a lot! I learned that TV friendships are just made for TV so thank God I have real friends! I learned that snakes are no longer in the grass, they are on TV and in designer clothing! I learned that no matter how successful I become, I will always have critics amongst this group of women! Lastly, I learned that what don’t kill ya will definitely make you stronger! Oh and I didn’t know that the gays own the word Queen now! Interesting Ummhmmmm!

This has truly been a learning experience for me, but now I want to focus on my upcoming performance in Cirque Du Soleil Zumanity June 27th through July 1st and the launching of my clothing line on HSN in July!

Now with that said, I will have you know that this blog has been brought to you by Nene Leakes, meaning that this is my opinion and if you don’t like it, too bad! I said what I said and I won’t be changing it #SHADE

I Am On Team Right!

I caught up with Extra yesterday to talk about the Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion and make it clear what side I am on: the RIGHT one!

This Is So Sad!

As hopeful as I was for us to be life-long friends, I am not surprised our friendship has ended and it truly saddens me! Reality friendships never last anyway so how foolish was I to think I had made something special! It’s amazing what people are willing to do for the love of money, relevancy and to stay on TV! With Cynthia’s sell out personality and blow-with-the-wind persona I knew it was only a matter of time!

It’s always the ones that are the closet to you that will turn on you! I was totally blindsided by all this! Yes I called Peter the B-word in early October of last year and I have apologized numerous times for it! Cynthia and Peter accepted my apology and we simply moved on! Yes moved on to talking, traveling and texting several times a day as we always did! The four of us went to dinner, Cynthia hosted my curvy girl Model Call at Bar One and Peter was there to help us out. They were at the hospital with me, they spent Thanksgiving at my home, we celebrated the New Years together in Vegas, we were hanging out together during fashion week! She attended the Red Dress Heart Truth fashion show with me and Michael Costello’s fashion show, we celebrated her birthday early in NYC with a fun brunch at Lavo!

When the episode aired for all to see and the Twitterverse had their say, I guess she changed her mind and decided she needed to be mad nearly six months later! WOW! Who gets mad six months later? I know you tryin to pull the sympathy card but if you were such a good friend, why didn’t you pull me aside and talk to me about how you were feeling instead of dicing our friendship up in front of a bunch of people who don’t care! Surely I am worthy of that considering I have carried you on my back! I can admit when something hurts the same way I can apologize when I am wrong but hey who cares about a stupid friendship when you need to secure another season on the show! The saddest thing about betrayal is that it never comes from the enemy!

For the record I don’t hate you! I just hate that you turned into everything you said you would never be! Good bye friend!

PS: If you or anyone else thinks the demise of our friendship is your storyline for season 7, think again flip-flopper!

Talking Real Housewives With Arsenio

I sat down with Arsenio Hall last night on his show to discuss the Real Housewives franchise and the reunion special that was not so special? watch the clip and comment below. I want to hear what you think!

My Dress For The Reunion!

NeNe Leakes - Marc Bower Reunion Show Dress

I LOVE my dress by Marc Bower that I wore to the reunion show! What do you guys think?

SPEAK ON IT!

I’ve sat through many reunion shows, but this one takes the cake for me! My feelings are simple! You TAUNT, you INVADE people’s personal space, you PUSH, you PROVOKE, you LIE and yet you don’t condone violence! Well, what message are you sending? I feel like I’ve been put in provoking situations all season!

  1. Bringing Marlo to the Bailey Bowl when I was always told that she wasn’t the Bravo brand
  2. Allowing Kenya to pull my ear during the “All White” party in episode 1
  3. Pushing me into a charity event that everyone knew I wasn’t invited to!

If I had reacted in a violent manner in any of these situations I would be considered the bad one, the one that is wrong, the one that is mean. But at the same time is all of THIS really ok? I wanna hear from you! When is it “okay” to BULLY someone, then question retaliation? Should there have been a halt to the foolish antics? Should PROPS be allowed in situations such as this? Speak On It!

Krayonce Is Just Thirsty

Misery loves company! Manlow and Krayonce seem to be keeping each other company very well. They are back at their ol? tricks. Krayonce wants this to be about her so badly! She has thirsty written all over her face. It’s way better for them to sit and talk about me than me talking about them, because I am very busy, hunni!

As I said before, I am never having anything to do with these two fools, so no need for me to comment. When I write you off, I write you off! They are doing all for nothing, so let them keep talking about me.

I’m so sad and angry about The New Normal going away, as if I have anything to do with NBC’s decision making! The New Normal was an amazing series with talented writers, actors and creators. If you were in this business, then you would know that as an African American actress not many of us can say that we have worked on two major networks at the same damn time as working on a cable network. That’s amazing within itself! I love how these chicks try to diminish what is clearly a major accomplishment. Let’s see them get a series to lose, then holla back at me. By the way, what do they do again? My point exactly!

Just so you know, if I?m seen for one second or one hour on Glee, I get paid exactly the same — it’s called a contract!

Thanks for tuning in!

P.S. My clothing line is coming in July and I?m currently on DWTS Season 18, which begins March 17th on ABC! I have another amazing announcement coming soon! When one door closes another one opens!

Stay Fabulous, Darling!

Marlo and Kenya are the Perfect Match

Here we go again! If you read my blogs then you know I hate long drawn out stuff and I don’t have time to touch on the BS, so let’s jump right in!

The Bailey Bowl: I love a good challenge so when I was told to gather up a team and meet on a field for some fun and competition, I was there! We started off by having some good competitive fun! Then here comes the BS!

Look, there’s a lot I could say, but instead, I’ll just say this.. Kandi, you have never seen me walk away from a fight and you have never seen me physically fight either have you? My son was at this event and as much as I would like to be mama Joyce & take my shoe off and hit somebody or drag someone down the street, I would never stoop so low to the gutter with my son around, so you are right! I know how to respect myself enough to walk away from something that no longer serves me, grows me or make me happy! In life you have to pick ur battles, everything isn’t worth fighting for or worth the emotional investment!

I never need to speak on the Marlo situation because she’s not important and not a part of this cast, but I supported Marlo and helped her unselfishly when nobody wanted her around! I will repeat: NOBODY! Some of these girls felt like because of Marlo’s criminal background, the fact that she slashed a friends face with a knife and disfigured her over a man, they didn’t want her around! I looked past that and really tried to see her heart! I was honest to a fault with her and a true loyal friend. Say what you want but there are rules to friendship! Everyone that knows me knows that I am a loyal friend and I expect the same in return. In friendship you have to give and take! If I give, that doesn’t mean all you get to do is take! So called “friends” that fraternize with the enemy is an opportunist in my opinion. They smile in your face but they’re looking to take your place. (more…)

I Apologize For My Behavior

WOW! What a show! I don’t have a lot I want to say, but I’ll start by saying I apologize for my behavior at the charity event. I definitely don’t want to teach young women that this is the proper way to respond when someone is trying to trick you into a situation and push your buttons. I would much rather teach young women to be aware of the wolves in sheep?s clothing.

Kenya used the charity?s name for her own selfish reasons. I’m the kind of girl that likes to spill the facts. Everything else is just gossip and B.S. Here are the facts. I never received a call, a text, or an email from Kenya. What I did learn the night before the charity event is that Kenya had used a PR Firm to send e-vites to everyone, which is why I didn’t see it. Fact! You heard me right, a third party! She wanted you to believe she sent me an email and she did not. FACT! If she really had pure, good intentions, she could have picked up the phone, called me, and said, “Hey let’s put our differences aside for a night of charity!”

I’m a very rational person. I have been a major supporter to Saving Our Daughters and have raised thousands of dollars for them. Fact! All this charity B.S. is coming from a person that showed up at my charity event last year in a thong and butt pads! She even argued outside of Porsha’s charity event! She has no credibility when it comes to charity. I just hope Saving Our Daughters received the thousands of dollars she claimed to have raised. (more…)
